The St. Louis Post-Dispatch in February announced Centene Corp, a healthcare system headquartered in the St. Louis region, has purchased the naming rights for the St. Louis City Soccer Club stadium. Centene Stadium is slated to open in summer 2023.

The multi-purpose MLS campus will include not only a stadium, but will also offer a training facility, practice fields and headquarters all in one centralized location.

The project is a joint venture between Mortenson | Alberici | L. Keeley, and preconstruction on the stadium began in late 2019. Mortenson | Alberici | L. Keeley are building a world-class home for St. Louis’ first MLS Club that will help transform Downtown West into a year-round, accessible activity hub.
