Upon completion, the Dekalb Data Center will be located on an approximately 500-acre campus, located in Dekalb, Illinois. The data center will be part of the valuable infrastructure that helps bring our customer's applications and services to more than three billion people across the globe.

Once operational, the facility will be LEED Gold Certified, a result of the customer and Mortenson's comprehensive approach to sustainable design and construction, which focuses on energy and water conservation, responsible material sourcing, and waste reduction.

The project’s location yields several benefits, including access to a strong and reliable electrical grid, and a valuable set of community partners. This new data center will not only be among the most advanced, energy and water-efficient facilities in the world, but it will also set the standard for data centers across the country and create a world-class experience for everyone.
