Denver International Airport Bridge
Denver International Airport Pedestrian Bridge / DenverCO
Can you build a pedestrian bridge that aircraft can go under?
The Pedestrian Bridge is located between the Main Terminal and Concourse A at Denver International Airport. With a vast span of 345 feet, it is the longest single-span bridge in the United States and extends 5 feet farther than the longest single-span bridge in Europe. The bridge is perched 45 feet above the ground, making it the only bridge under which aircraft can travel. A glass curtain wall encloses the bridge providing a panoramic view of Colorado with majestic mountains to the west and pleasant plains to the east.
