In April 2004, Mortenson completed a new two-story, 77,000 square foot community center. The facility includes state of the art fitness and recreation equipment, including indoor competitive and leisure pools, two gyms, basketball courts, racquetball courts, indoor track, free/circuit weight area, aerobics room, locker rooms, childcare facilities, teen center, climbing wall, meeting rooms and administrative offices.

As the Dickinson community continues to grow due to the oil and gas industry, the center needed to expand services to accommodate new memberships. Mortenson was called back in 2013 to build a 138,000 square foot expansion. New amenities include four new indoor basketball courts, an outdoor pool and waterpark, an NHL-size ice arena, and the renovation of existing spaces to accommodate an expansion of aerobics and free weights and upgrades to the existing indoor track.
