Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital, a new 115-bed behavioral health hospital, will provide specialized psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults in the area from North Seattle to the Canadian border. A full continuum of behavioral health and addiction treatment, including inpatient and day hospital services, will be provided.
The 70,000 square foot, state-of-the-art hospital will include semi-private patient rooms, an outpatient clinic, and support space, including a pharmacy and food service administration. Indoor and outdoor recreational activity areas have also been constructed.
Because of the behavioral health focus, unique features of the building include anti-ligature doors, hardware, bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and sprinkler heads.
This project was turned over 5 weeks ahead of schedule, allowing US Healthvest to start delivering treatment to patients sooner than anticipated.
