Melanie joined Mortenson in 1994, and currently serves as a project executive for our Phoenix office. Melanie has extensive experience on large, complicated, multi-phased projects in the hospitality and healthcare sectors. Throughout the Valley, she has been integral in leading the new Great Wolf Lodge in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Hyatt Place/Hyatt House Tempe Downtown hotel, among other hospitality projects Mortenson is working on.  Additionally, Melanie was the project executive for the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, an 85-acre development including more than 1.9 million square feet of hotel, retail, commercial and convention space, the Denver Health Pavilion M and Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Melanie earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from the Colorado School of Mines.
