Mike is a Chicago native and industry veteran with over 30 years of experience working with customers across the Midwest. As Strategy and Market Development Director for the Chicago office, Mike leads our market sector teams in market analysis, identifying our customer’s needs, and positioning Mortenson to support those needs. With experience building in healthcare, higher education, corporate, and industrial markets, he brings a unique understanding and valued industry insights throughout the entire planning, design, and construction process. He is dedicated to collaborating with our customers and business partners to find the right solutions, and his ability to create meaningful and long-standing business relationships is widely recognized amongst his peers.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is an active member of his community and various organizations including the American Diabetes Association (ADA), the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), and the Healthcare Institute (HCI).
