Chris Joined Mortenson in 2009 and brings over 25 years of industry experience to the Seattle group. In his current role as Senior Superintendent, he oversees the total construction effort to ensure projects reach completion in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and quality standards. Chris has extensive experience working on high-rise residential projects in downtown Seattle on active and confined job sites. He has contributed to the success of various project deliveries, such as the Climate Pledge Arena, CitizenM Hotel, and Providence Regional Medical Center. His extensive knowledge and expertise are critical in setting each project up for success during preconstruction planning, and his oversight throughout the construction process ensures project teams precisely execute project goals to Mortenson standards.

Chris enjoys leading cohesive, collaborative project teams to work through complex problems. He utilizes his skills in communication, coaching, and driving solutions to complete and deliver each project successfully through the collaborative effort of his project teams. Nothing brings him greater satisfaction than looking back at the team's accomplishments despite all the obstacles presented by each project. Chris is proud of the lasting relationships he establishes with facility personnel, trade partners, designers, and building officials. Chris's assistance in guiding project team personnel is vital for the success of each project, and he is passionate about building the next generation of builders.

Always looking for ways to give back to his community, Chris stays involved in many different organizations, from NAIOP to United Way. His favorite organization to volunteer with is the Stanley Stamm Summer Camp for kids receiving treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital. Chris enjoys spending time with his family and loves outdoor activities in the Seattle sun. He enjoys spending his free time camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, towing the kids behind his boat, or cruising around the San Juan Islands.
