Joining Mortenson in 2014, Steve brings 40 years of dedicated MEP experience to our project team. He is deeply familiar with complex facilities and expansive mechanical, electrical, and building systems required for their efficient operation. Steve has been involved in several DBIA national award-winning projects and is a strong proponent of the value that can be gained through design-build. His commitment to pre-planning and extensive communication to maintain high-quality installations is invaluable to all stakeholders throughout projects.

Steve enjoys the variety of very complex and interesting projects that he’s had the opportunity to be a part of. He especially enjoys connecting with customers, contractors, and design teams to come up with MEP options to best resolve the issues presented in the project.

Steve has been an ACE Mentor since 2015 and has led the local Eastside Pod for the past three years to expose high school students to architecture, construction management, and engineering careers.
