On June 16th, team members Chase Farnsworth and Cherilyn McCabe had the opportunity to meet members of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce and introduce Mortenson.

Standing in a room of at least 75 other individuals, Cherilyn recounted her experiences growing up as a Native American, saying "the work was never done". She told the story of when her father was able to participate in the Heart Walk with fellow Mortenson team members and their families - a meaningful experience to him and his family. 

Chase gave examples of our innovation and sustainability and explained the idea behind having glass panels installed in the Elliott Bay Seawall - not merely an aesthetic decision, but a quantifiable solution for fish to access sunlight from below the structure.
