Darden Solar + Storage

Fresno, CA

In partnership with Mortenson as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor, IPX Power will deliver 1,500 MWdc of solar energy to the San Joaquin Valley, advancing California’s progress toward achieving 100% clean electricity while strengthening grid resilience.

Built on approximately 9,500 acres of land that is no longer able to support agricultural production, the project — slated for completion in 2028 — will provide more than 1,200 construction jobs and $74 million in local and state tax revenue during construction.
