ENR Southwest Award of Merit: Salt River Project (SRP) Project Administration Building

Recently, the Salt River Project (SRP) Project Administration Building’s East Wing Renovation was honored as a Regional Best Project with an Award of Merit in the Renovation/Restoration category from Engineering News-Record (ENR) Southwest Region.

The East Wing Renovation, completed December 2017, was perhaps the most transformative of all the phases in the SRP Project Administration Building renovation, and included a complete structural “gut and reconstruct” of the East Wing. Once exclusively dedicated to office space, the East Wing is now transformed into the new “grand entrance” for the public, and features a three-story atrium, referred to as “the Canyon,” that houses a museum dedicated to showcasing the proud history of SRP.
