THE EMPOWERMENT
OF POSSIBILITY
Advancing our MWBE partners
At Mortenson, we greatly value our partnerships with a diverse supplier network. We focus on strengthening the economic health of our communities – not on checking boxes or achieving goals. It’s about making a difference. Doing the right thing. And providing opportunities that impart lasting benefits to the communities where we live and work.
Success is Better, Together
For more than 20 years, Mortenson has maintained our commitment to supporting participation from small-, women- and minority-owned businesses on our projects. Over time, this commitment has evolved into a strategic, proactive program. We feel so strongly about providing opportunities and maximizing participation, that we now set participation goals on each of our projects.
Our Community Participation Program is designed to maximize opportunities by:
- Structuring bid packages to include more minority- and women-owned businesses
- Collaborating with contractor organizations to help identify MWBE firms

Redefining What's Possible
Nothing is more representative of a community than its school system. So when we were tasked to build the Minneapolis public school headquarters, we kept that representation strong.
The construction of U.S. Bank Stadium achieved unparalleled workforce participation and local business involvement that far exceeded the established goals for the project.
