What does a Field Engineer do?
Mortenson’s Field Engineers are essential to the successful execution of our projects. They are technical professionals who work on-site to ensure the construction process runs smoothly.
Act as a crucial link between the project management team, field-based superintendent and trade partners to ensure a successful partnership.
Impact as a key subject matter expert onsite through your detailed insight and ability on assigned scopes.
Collaborate with team in development and execution of full-cycle project planning.
Oversee procurement and material management to ensure the project is set up on time with all materials needed for success.
Provide critical problem solving to aid the team in all issues to ensure superior quality and customer experience.
Conduct site inspections for quality, compliance, and progress reporting purposes.
Growing as a person and as an engineer.
Hannah had never been on a construction site before her first internship at Mortenson. Choosing to jump in headfirst to build data centers with the support of her teammates has made a tremendous impact on her as a person and as an engineer.
