Budd Inlet Treatment Plant Primary Sedimentation Basins

How do you build a wastewater treatment plant next-door to a Children's Museum?

This is a major capital improvement project to upgrade and expand primary sedimentation basins of the Budd Inlet Treatment plant that are approximately 60 years old. Two new primary sedimentation basins will be constructed, plus odor control facilities, piping, and chemical and electrical controls systems needed to support the basins. The facility will continue to operate 24 hours a day while the construction is underway.
