Mortenson was selected to build a new 33-story condominium tower in downtown Seattle. The $53 million concrete-and-steel project is in the heart of hundreds of millions of dollars worth of commercial development, constructed during the early transformation of the Denny Triangle area.
The Cosmopolitan has street-level retail below eight floors of parking (270 stalls). The 250 condos start on the tenth floor, above one floor of amenities (spa, sauna, guest suite, business center, and lounge). Mortenson’s outstanding performance for this owner on the Metropolitan Tower, a 32-story luxury apartment in the same neighborhood, played a significant part in Mortenson’s ultimate selection.
