This two-story cable landing facility is steel framed with a second-floor composite deck system constructed of a 3” metal deck with 6” of concrete fill. The enclosure consists of precast panels, louvers, punched window openings, and an aluminum storefront entrance. Three 1500 kW generators and the paralleling switchgear provide power to the building in case of a utility power failure and two 15,000 gallon tanks supply fuel for the generators. The facility includes 14 computer room air handlers (CRAH), three 240 ton chillers, and 9 air cooled condensers handle the building’s substantial heat loads.
