Software Developer II - Integration Developer

 

SUMMARY  

Mortenson is currently seeking a Software Developer with the ability to participate in all activities related to the development of solutions within our applications architecture; working with other groups to design, document, develop, test, debug and implement solutions within our applications portfolio. 

 

Location: Minneapolis, MN

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement integration flows between various cloud applications and on-prem applications using Informatica and Oracle Cloud Integration
  • Providing ongoing support and maintenance of the applications/integrations, including problem investigation, development, performance optimization, testing, and deployment.
  • Expected to handle all the tasks independently and take the initiative to take primary responsibility on certain parts of the application or Integrations.
  • Applies learned skills to design and develop larger projects and complex tasks. Actively participate in design sessions to learn and provide feedback.
  • Focus on gaining experience and developing skills on Advance Technologies and skills through hands-on practice and independent learning with research and training on his own.
  • Assigned with medium and complex tasks and projects to turn into a subject matter expert on certain technology or module or technical areas.
  • Take responsibility for troubleshooting and debugging issues on his own and collaborate with team and understand critical production support issues
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and IT colleagues to define detailed requirements and system interfaces, assessing the value of vendor-provided software modifications versus custom modules.
  • Research and analyze business problems to help improve daily work processes and develop recommended solutions.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional customer service skills.
  • Practice active listening and effective communication, being open to diverse input and feedback.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and expertise.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in various technical development areas including analyses, development, testing and deployment
  • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with integration tools such as Informatica, Oracle Integration Cloud, or Dell Boomi using CDI/CAI methodology with various cloud applications.
  • Experience with web services and SOA architecture
  • Design & developing REST/HTTP API's along with JSON data formats and working with Postman or SoapUI
  • Extensive understanding of development processes, integrations, and integration structures.
  • Experience with languages such as Java, Python, C#, SQL
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
  • Experience in a production support model, utilizing various logging and debugging methods.

The base pay range for this role is $101,200 - $151,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). 

 

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.  This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan
