Project Name: Pleasant Valley Repower Wind Project
Project Location: Waltham, MN 55982

The base compensation range for this role is $22.20- $54.03 per hour. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill and experience with consideration given to internal equity.  

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
Operates equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures.

The base compensation range for this role is $31.71- $54.89 per hour. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill and experience with consideration given to internal equity.

-High quality, professional work product performed with initiative, productivity, a positive attitude and behavior
-Performance should meet or exceed the established standards, goals, and accountabilities of the position

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project:
     1. Blade
     2. Dozer
     3. Loader
     4. Scraper
     5. Forklift/Telehandler
     6. Crane
     7. Bobcat/Skid-steer
     8. Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts
     9. Roller
-Follows prescribed safety regulations
-Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area
-Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning
-Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction
-Follows work plans and pre-task cards
-Other duties and responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

-Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operator equipment

-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals, and load charts
-Knowledge of equipment and their uses
-Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication)
-Strong teamwork orientation
-Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
-Ability to work independently
-Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements 
-Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs
-Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-Equipment certifications as required
-A minimum of one year of related experience
-Must possess valid driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
