This weekend, Mortenson Denver held its 16th Annual T-Bone Memorial Clay Shoot and raised $35,000 to benefit American Military Family (AMF), a suicide prevention nonprofit organization that supports returning servicemen and women, their families, and first responders. 

“Our goal is to do everything humanly possible to help struggling veterans and first responders get the help they need emotionally, physically, mentally and financially,” said American Military Family founder Debbie Quackenbush McElhinney.. We are deeply grateful to their team for their steadfast support in helping us grow our efforts and expand our impact.”

This year, more than 164 shooters took part in individual and team clay shooting competitions. Funds were raised through the entry fees for the shooters as well as support from event sponsors, and through a prize raffle. 

“We believe to our core in building stronger communities, and that means taking care of the folks who put their lives on the line through their service,” said Brian Fitzpatrick, Vice President and General Manager of Mortenson Denver. “Seeing the response from our team and the building community around this event is truly heartening.
