How can a maintenance facility be sustainably constructed?

These six new Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facilities (TEMF) contain repair bays for maintenance of armored vehicles; equipment and core areas for administration, training rooms, tool storage, weapons storage, telecommunication equipment, and lockers. The facilities have all been certified LEED Gold. They incorporate sustainable features such as an enhanced building thermal envelope, water-conserving plumbing fixtures, energy-saving mechanical equipment, and lighting fixtures that are controlled by daylight and occupancy sensors.
