Mortenson was selected as Salt River Project’s (SRP) design-build partner for the complete renovation of a fully operational, 342,000 square foot facility under a multi-phased, multi-year construction plan, along with an 80,000 square foot, five-story addition. The Arizona utility project included 25 dual Clipper Creek charging units installed on campus for use by SRP utility fleet vehicles, employees, and guests. The chargers were procured by SRP, and Mortenson managed the installation of the charging infrastructure and charger units.

Performing substantial, complex work in an active operating facility requires an extensive focus on disruption avoidance and effective communication to ensure project success.
