Progressive Design-Build
Central Oregon’s bioscience innovation sector continues to expand and Mortenson is helping Serán Bioscience lead the way.
The first phase features a state-of-the-art, 50,000-square-foot cGMP facility on a 14-acre site, purpose-built for oral solid dosage (OSD) drug production. The facility includes seven specialized suites supporting processes such as spray drying, granulation, tableting, encapsulation, and coating of pills, capsules, and tablets. Supporting infrastructure includes a QC lab for in-process testing, cold storage, purified water, nitrogen, bulk solvent distribution, and automation systems.
The design-build team achieved groundbreaking within six months of award and continues to make exceptional progress toward delivery in Q2 2027.
