Mike Moore
Superintendent | Seattle
With nearly three decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Mike Moore brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and technical expertise to every project. His journey began in high school with residential foundations and framing, followed by non-union concrete carpentry. At 24, he joined the union and has been a dedicated member ever since, building a career rooted in hard work and continuous growth.
Mikes’s educational background includes coursework at Everett Community College and a two-year superintendent training program through the union. He holds certifications in CESCL, CPR/First Aid, rigging, and crane operations, and has completed multiple leadership trainings. His expertise spans client communication, disruption avoidance planning, logistics, material takeoffs, safety coordination, crane setups and climbing, crane demobilization, concrete work, self-climbing and crane-assisted cores, concrete flier tables, enclosures, and structural concrete and steel erection.
As a superintendent, Mike is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, coordinating with trade partners, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules. He works closely with the project team to minimize disruptions and deliver high-quality results in a complex environment. His dedication to excellence extends beyond the construction site. He consistently pursues ongoing learning and professional development to stay ahead of industry trends and innovations.
What Mike enjoys most about his role is the need to think outside the box and the opportunity to collaborate with talented, driven individuals.
Outside of work, Mike is passionate about building and racing trucks, riding dirt and street bikes, and off-roading—his favorite pastime. He’s an active member of the Skagit Valley Dirt Bike Club, where he volunteers for races and poker runs, and he also supports his daughter’s school drama club.
