ACE and Mortenson
Raising awareness, recruiting mentors, and developing our future leaders
Every summer Mortenson is thrilled to welcome high school interns from the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program into each of our 8 regional offices.
The nationwide mentor program pairs students with ACE industry professionals. These students then work on projects that provide hands-on experience in solving the types of design, engineering, and construction challenges industry professionals confront every day. They experience the flow of a construction project first-hand.
Local affiliates influencing the next generation
ACE is comprised of affiliates that serve high-school-age youth within a certain city or region across the nation. Each affiliate has a board of directors, a local coordinator, and a combination of architecture, construction, and engineering firms - all committed to the mission of the ACE Mentor Program.
local affiliates in more than 200 cities across the nation
of students from under-served communities
million in scholarships given towards ACE degrees
mentors and volunteers participate every year
of students enroll in higher education after an ACE internship
students from over 1,100 schools experience ACE
We're continuing to grow not only the number of our mentors internally but the number of students who intern with us. And the partnership we've established with this program has enabled our 8 regional groups to step up and make a difference.
How you can support our ACE affiliates
Increasing the awareness of this program is vital to continuing the impact that the ACE Mentor Program has on today’s high-schoolers and tomorrow’s leaders. We'd love for you to connect with and support our local affiliate partners.
