Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Engineer II 

 

SUMMARY 

We are seeking a skilled and customer focused Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Engineer II to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing solutions based on the AEM platform, which is a content management system (CMS) used for creating, managing, and delivering digital experiences across web, mobile, and apps. This role will work with various aspects of AEM, including design, development, integration, and testing, This role will collaborate with our Sales and Marketing team which includes UX/UI designers, content creators, and product manager. Also, collaborating with other teams as needed for integrations between systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and Development: Developing and implementing AEM solutions, including custom components, templates, and workflows.

  • Integration: Integrating AEM with other systems and platforms, such as Coveo, Salesforce, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, or other third-party APIs.

  • Testing and Optimization: Testing and optimizing AEM solutions for performance and usability.

  • Collaboration: Own the AEM build and deployment pipeline, ensuring efficient CI/CD workflows using tools such as Azure DevOps, or Adobe Cloud Manager. Working with cross-functional teams to define requirements, implement solutions, and ensure quality. 

  • Code Quality: Writing and maintaining high-quality, performant code using best practices. Implementing

  • Problem Solving: Troubleshooting issues and resolving problems related to AEM implementations and integrations.

  • AEM Administration: Responsible for the end-to-end management of AEM environments, including configuration, monitoring, and support including the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance. 

  • AEM Environment Management: Keeping all AEM environments in synch. Coordinating clone downs from PROD to non-PROD environments and tracking code migrations between environments.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline 

  • 3+ years of experience programing in Java

  • Demonstrated experience with AEM modules like AEM Sites, AEM Forms, AEM Assets, AEM Workflows, and/or basic administration of AEM 

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, OAUTH2, and other integration methods

  • Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems like Azure DevOps

  • Experience with various levels of testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • AEM Administration and AEM as a Cloud Service experience preferred

  • Experience with Atomic Framework in AEM is preferred

 

The salary range for this role is $103,200 - $154,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). 

 

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
