This role accelerates company‑wide strategic capability development of AI skills and capabilities for the organization. The Senior Learning & Development Specialist will define the strategic map of the skill and behaviors the business must build to enable AI. This includes designing integrated, future‑ready development pathways and embedding learning directly into daily work, enabling teams to build AI capabilities faster and drive measurable business performance. The role will deliver dashboards and insights that make adoption, capability growth, and business impact visible to leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in learning & development, organizational development, business administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience.
8+ years of experience in training, learning and development, or enterprise capability building, with a track record of shaping and delivering learning solutions that support business strategy.
Demonstrated experience leading workforce enablement for emerging and strategic capabilities such as digital literacy, data skills, innovation, new technologies, or AI‑enabled work.
Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and partnering with executive stakeholders to define capability needs and deliver high‑impact, scalable learning strategies.
Prior experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or real estate development preferred, with an understanding of how capability development supports operational excellence in these industries.
Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and blended learning strategies, with the ability to translate business capability needs into high‑impact learning solutions.
Strong understanding of emerging digital and strategic capability areas—such as data literacy, digital fluency, innovation, leadership, and AI‑enabled work—and the ability to convert these concepts into practical, role‑based learning experiences.
Familiarity with foundational AI and automation concepts (e.g., generative AI tools, agents, multimodal models, AI‑enabled workflows) and the ability to interpret these capabilities for workforce learning and enablement.
Experience using analytics, learning data, and digital tools to evaluate learning adoption, capability growth, and business impact.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple capability‑building initiatives and deliver results in a fast‑paced, evolving business environment.
Ability to travel up to 15%.

The base pay range for this role is $92,300 - $138,500. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
