SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Technology Manager that will provides technical execution throughout preconstruction and construction, ensuring scope, design, procurement, and quality align with project objectives. This role is accountable for driving technical delivery from planning through turnover.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct basis of design reviews with the owner, document feedback, and ensure revisions are incorporated into design.
Influence the creation of pre-construction and construction schedules, coordinating design package submissions and milestones.
Provide leadership in proposal development, assisting estimation, ensuring technical scopes are comprehensive and competitive.
Maintain scope alignment across all stakeholders, resolving discrepancies to avoid delays or added costs.
Establish procurement path, validate product specifications, and ensure compliance with budget and standards.
Support the preparation of contract documentation, working with project management and pre-con teams.
Review and influence all design changes (CCDs and RFIs), evaluating impacts on scope, schedule, and budget.
Oversee procurement execution to confirm products are ordered, delivered, and compliant.
Implement testing standards, influence inspections, and ensure project-wide compliance.
Manage commissioning activities, coordinating with subcontractors and agents to achieve project turnover.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ year technical degree from an accredited technical training institute or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent
RCDD preferred

**The base pay range for this role is $113,500 MIN - $170,300 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
