What is NSBE?

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) aims to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. Founded in 1975, NSBE supports and promotes the aspirations of collegiate and pre-collegiate students, as well as technical professionals in engineering and technology.

With over 600 chapters and more than 24,000 active members globally, NSBE provides programs and initiatives to foster academic excellence, professional development, and community engagement. Their mission is to stimulate and develop student interest in engineering disciplines and to encourage members to seek advanced degrees and professional registrations.
