On Friday, February 12, the University of Arizona held a groundbreaking ceremony for the C.A.T.S. Academic Center. The facility will provide tutoring and other support services for student athletes and will house academic services offices, computer labs, a classroom, small group study rooms, tutorial area, conference rooms, and life skills offices. Mortenson is partnering with AECOM and BWS Architects on the $7.5 million project, which is estimated to be completed October 2016.
