DeSoto County Solar Project

Project Overview: 

This 104.3-megawatt solar project in DeSoto County, Florida, represents the continued expansion of the state's renewable energy infrastructure and furthers Mortenson's long-standing commitment to building tomorrow's clean power solutions. 

As the customer's Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) partner, Mortenson is responsible for delivering the project from design and procurement through construction and commissioning. Once operational, the project will generate enough renewable electricity to meet the annual energy needs of approximately 12,000 Florida homes, contributing to a more diverse and resilient energy system while supporting long-term reliability for communities across the state.
