The Newgarden Inn project was Mortenson’s first project at Fort Knox, Kentucky. The $20.6 million Design-Build project is a limited-service hotel that includes 196 guest rooms, lobby and registration areas, conference and study rooms, a fitness room, breakfast bar area, parking for 195 vehicles, and miscellaneous ancillary support areas. This project was designed according to LEED® Silver guidelines and Department of Defense Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection requirements.
