Outgrowing its former corporate historic building in the West Bend Cultural District, the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) constructed a new two-story, 31,000 SF building. The MOWA, located in West Bend, Wisconsin, is the state’s primary venue for the exhibition of historic and contemporary Wisconsin art. It also includes the unequaled Wisconsin Art Archive, which contains over 8,000 files on Wisconsin art, artists and a significant library of research material on state art and history.
The building is located on a 1.5-acre lot in the downtown district along the river. It doubled the size of their previous building and consists of exhibit space, education facilities, administrative and support space.
