The Astera Health Critical Access Hospital has provided healthcare to the community for over 90 years. However, the existing facility is outdated and unable to accommodate the community’s growing and changing needs. Looking to the next 90 years, the new Astera Health Critical Access Hospital will provide the latest technologies and healthcare innovations, offering the best patient experience available. It will feature new surgery suites, an emergency department and intensive care unit, obstetrics with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum rooms, imaging, labs, a pharmacy with retail, rehabilitation facilities, clinic exam rooms, meeting and conference rooms, and administrative spaces.
