Meet Bob
Bob serves as the Vice President + General Manager for the data center group at Mortenson. Operating out of the Denver office, Bob has 28 years of construction industry experience and has worked in the data center sector for over 13 years. Bob started off working for the design phase team and brings that technical insight into his current leadership role as vice president and general manager.
Professional Experience
After completing his B.S. in construction management at the University of Wisconsin – Stout Polytechnic, Bob became a Senior Project Manager for Qwest Communications. Prior to joining Mortenson in 2020, Bob went on to become the Vice President of Data Center Design and Construction at JP Morgan Chase. After joining the data center group at Mortenson, Bob brought his innovative expertise to the design phase sector before taking on the role of Vice President + General Manager of the data center group.

Personal Passions
One of my greatest passions is mentoring kids and young adults who lack a male role model in their lives. I believe that providing guidance, support, and just being there for them can help build confidence, develop life skills, and open doors to new possibilities. Alongside mentorship, I’m deeply committed to community volunteering, particularly when it comes to supporting single, disadvantaged parents who may not have the financial means or technical expertise to handle home repairs or improvement projects.
