Driving project success through expert planning
As Director of Preconstruction, I oversee all preconstruction activities to ensure projects are positioned for success before construction begins. I lead a skilled preconstruction team, manage estimating processes, develop comprehensive project schedules and budgets, and build strong relationships with customers and trade partners.
My leadership in design phase management has helped Mortenson become a trusted partner in delivering large and complex renewable energy projects, particularly in the Wind and Solar industries. I am dedicated to guiding and inspiring the next generation of engineers and design phase managers, fostering a culture of problem-solving leadership that supports both project and team success.

My career at Mortenson is distinguished by my leadership and meaningful contributions across a range of industries. As a mid-career hire, I rapidly became proficient in Mortenson’s processes and self-perform capabilities. During my first five years, I played a pivotal role in helping drive the success of Wind and Solar projects, earning recognition as a key leader in the renewable energy industry.
I then transitioned to the Site Development market, broadening my expertise and deepening my understanding of Mortenson’s comprehensive services. My work across multiple industries allowed me to help drive some of the company’s largest and most complex projects to date.
Now as Director of Preconstruction, I draw on my extensive background to strategically position projects for success from day one, reinforcing Mortenson’s reputation for deep-rooted partnerships, excellence, and innovation.
