With 25 years of experience in highly regulated environments, I partner with owners, architects, and engineers to align complex technical decisions with long-term operational and capital objectives, bringing clarity to projects that demand both precision and adaptability.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on understanding the broader business drivers behind each facility—helping clients translate throughput requirements, regulatory constraints, and evolving technologies into scalable, high-performing assets. I believe the best outcomes come from relationships built on trust and shared purpose, where doing the right thing is never the wrong thing. Mortenson’s integrated approach allows us to move beyond transactional delivery and become a true partner in our customers’ success.
Technical depth backed by real-world execution
Before joining Mortenson, I spent more than two decades leading the planning, design, and execution of life sciences manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and internationally. My experience spans large-scale greenfield campuses, mRNA and biologics expansions, and mission-critical utility infrastructure—including leadership of an integrated design-build effort during Operation Warp Speed, a defining experience that reinforced the impact our work can have on patients and communities. As a licensed Professional Engineer and long-standing member of ISPE, I remain closely connected to the technical and regulatory evolution of the industry.

My goal is to create an environment rooted in trust, clear vision, and empowerment, where people are encouraged to lead and contribute at their highest level. Whether guiding complex programs or mentoring team members, I remain focused on developing strong teams, fostering collaboration, and helping others grow into leaders.
Personal Passions
I grew up in Leon, Kansas, where I developed a strong foundation rooted in hard work and community. I now live in Arizona with my wife, where we enjoy exploring wines, food, and hiking. With our children pursuing their own paths, we value opportunities to stay connected and support them, as well.
