PERSONAL PASSIONS
For more than 14 years, I’ve championed Green Apple Day of Service projects, a series of pro bono design and construction initiatives that transform schools and nonprofit facilities across Chicagoland. Through Mortenson’s support, these projects bring sustainability and beauty to underserved communities, creating spaces that inspire learning and growth. My passion for this work is deeply personal- I grew up with limited resources, and I believe we all have a responsibility to give the next generation a better chance at success. Construction, to me, is more than building structures; it’s about building hope and opportunity, one ZIP code at a time.
