We drive what’s possible by asking ourselves: “What must be true for us to achieve this goal?” rather than “What’s holding us back?”
Crafting exceptional talent
One of the biggest changes I’ve seen in our industry is the respect for the craft. When I was in high school, the push was to attend college while trades were often overlooked. Today, that mindset has shifted, with the trades now being more accepted and celebrated; however, we’re still feeling the effects of that former cultural stance. BLUvera is helping close that gap by lowering barriers to entry and creating new roles in the industry through prefabrication. Our solutions reduce on-site labor requirements while also opening doors for people who might not have taken a traditional path into construction. We know there simply won’t be enough skilled labor to build what the future demands—so we’re building smarter, more inclusive ways to get there.
Leading by example
For me, great leadership is about creating high-performing teams by recognizing and utilizing each person’s unique strengths while also knowing when to step in and get your hands dirty. At BLUvera, we lead by example. Our teams need to know that we’re in this together, and sometimes that just means buckling down and doing the work. That sense of unity and shared responsibility builds trust, momentum, and results.
Culture driving possibility
Our culture is rooted in the idea of redefining what’s possible - not just for our teams and our customers, but for the industry as a whole. We constantly ask ourselves: “What must be true for us to achieve this goal?” rather than “What’s holding us back?” That mindset fuels innovation, builds trust with our partners, and keeps us focused on doing the right thing. It’s how we create meaningful impact, one solution at a time.
PERSONAL PASSIONS
One of my most meaningful volunteer experiences was teaching Financial Peace University—a program that’s had a profound impact on my own family. Sharing those tools with others and watching them gain confidence in their financial future has been incredibly rewarding.
If I could spark one change in the world, it would be encouraging us all to put down our phones and genuinely reconnect with each other and with the world around us.
