Fleet + Technology Manager
We don’t just build structures—we build trust, empower teams, and become integral partners in every project’s success.
Integral partner to your success
The breadth of our expertise allow us to service all types of commercial construction. Whether it’s a wind farm in Oklahoma, a data center in Wisconsin, or a state of the art sports venue in Las Vegas, we can do it all. Specifically within our equipment team, our strengths and diverse backgrounds help us support and effectively become a integral partner to our project teams success.
Building trust
Doing the right thing allows us to build trust with not only our external customers, but also internally amongst the organization. Having a tough conversation, but knowing it’s the right conversation to have, pays dividends down the road. This not only creates a culture you want to be part of, but knowing that’s the perception the outside world has of your organization. There’s a huge sense of pride when you tell people that you work at Mortenson.
Empowering leadership
What’s unique about leadership at Mortenson is the empowerment given to all employees across the organization. From our chairman down to our craft team members in the field every day, each one of us has an equal voice at the table no matter the subject. As a leader within the organization, it’s my duty to help other team members feel empowered to make decisions and harbor inclusiveness, breaking down the barriers and stigma of speaking up.
PERSONAL PASSIONS
One of the most meaningful ways I give back is by serving on the board of my son’s elementary school PTO (Parent Teacher Organization). I never imagined myself becoming one of “those parents,” but the experience has been truly eye-opening. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that our efforts are not only shaping young lives but also strengthening our community and creating opportunities for students who might otherwise be overlooked.
I proudly served in the Army Reserve for six years, continuing a family tradition of military service. It was an honor to wear the uniform, and that experience played a significant role in shaping the person I am today.
