Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Action
It is up to us to build teams that reflect our diverse communities to advance and solve industry challenges. Through partnerships with professional organizations like the National Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and Groundbreaking Women, we can access and develop diverse talent. Beyond that engagement, recruits also come from a wide range of schools across the country, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic Serving Institutions.
By investing in team members to build a better world, we are creating a place where talented people want to stay and grow. We work to provide all team members with what they need to thrive. Internal development programs, immersive experiences, and third party benchmarking help us ensure we have the right support and processes in place to implement equitable processes and retain and advance all team members.
Our team members are rich with unique skills and experiences — and we are prioritizing diverse representation within our company and across our industry. Diversity spans across many different dimensions and our efforts are focused on engaging at all levels. We are supporting team members and potential recruits across a wide array of backgrounds. From Business Resource Groups that create a sense of community for underrepresented groups and allies and creating listening platforms to ensure voices are heard, to investing in mentorship programs like ACE Mentor Program, to bring youth to the construction industry and expose them to a future they might not have imagined, we work to create a sense of belonging for all team members.
