The SHPE National Convention is the country's largest gathering of Hispanic students and professionals in STEM. Experience 100+ tiered skill-building workshops along with inspiring keynote speeches devoted to career development, life skills and knowledge training. Specialty tracks for Community College, Graduate School, SHPEtinas, Professionals and SHPEtech and more will be tailored to each audience and include STAR awards and competitions.
Over 250 sponsors and exhibitors will be looking to hire Hispanics in STEM to build diverse, representative and equitable teams. Make connections with many of the most influential organizations and leaders in STEM via in-person networking events. The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is the largest association in the nation for Hispanics in STEM — serving more than 13,000 members and running over 270 chapters, with 245 dedicated college and university chapters. SHPE’s vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
Founded in 1974 to help boost minority representation and employment in STEM, SHPE changes lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development.
