Engineering Project Manager I or II
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager I or II that will manage the overall scope, schedule, and budget of engineering projects as well as manage relationships with stakeholders and build a Market portfolio supporting a Mortenson Operating Group. Projects would include the engineering scopes of Wind, Solar, Battery Storage, Substation, T-lines, and Collection Systems with the potential to grow into new operating groups within Mortenson.
This position offers opportunities at both levels 1 or 2, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role is determined based on factors such as experience and location.
Hiring Locations: Minneapolis MN (highly preferred) or Denver, CO
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage projects
Partner with the Engineering Project Management Team and internal customers
Provide direction to the project design team for timely project completion
Assist in performing cost control and fiscal management

QUALIFICATIONS:
Engineering Project Manager I Qualifications:
4+ years of related engineering and/or project management experience
Engineering Project Manager II Qualifications:
6+ years of related engineering and/or project management experience
PMP certification (preferred)

Engineering Project Manager I:
The base pay range for this role is $95,700 - $129,200
Engineering Project Manager II:
The base pay range for this role is $111,400 - $167,100
(The actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%)
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
