Marketing Coordinator

SUMMARY 

Responsible for coordinating proposals, presentations, and events, while supporting all marketing and communications efforts for the operating group.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist with preparing proposal materials, including gathering, verifying, and formatting proposal information
  • Help to ensure that various aspects of proposals (technical scope, project experience, resumes, etc.) and other marketing materials are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Maintain marketing files, systems (Salesforce, proposal files, etc.), and supplies
  • Coordinate and plan activities for trade shows, conferences, and speaking opportunities
  • Assist in special event planning and coordination including groundbreaking, topping off, and ribbon cutting
  • Collect and update project profiles for content
  • Assist marketing specialists in creating and editing marketing materials, including newsletters, presentations, brochures, news releases, social media posts, and internal communications.
  • Maintain and manage professional photos of Mortenson team members
  • Assist in operating group annual meeting and other event planning logistics
  • Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
  • Detail-oriented and able to organize and prioritize multiple assignments within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Basic understanding of social media
  • Excellent creative, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to be flexible as needed
  • Good graphic sensitivity and judgment
  • Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Previous experience in Marketing, Communications or Sales Enablement role preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency of layout programs (i.e., Adobe Creative suite or other desktop publishing
  • programs)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point

The base pay range for this role is 28.51 - $38.46. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). 

 

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
