The American Heart Association recently held the first VIRTUAL Oregon & SW Washington Heart and Stroke Walk on May 30th. Our Mortenson Portland office gathered early Saturday morning for a Zoom video conference to support the cause. Following the virtual opening ceremonies, team members set out on a three-mile walk around their neighborhoods to help raise awareness and support heart disease and stroke. Our Portland team members surpassed our fundraising goal this year, raising over $10,000 for the American Heart Association, contributing to the overall number of $624,000. As the commitment to stay healthy is now more important than ever, our team members are proud to have virtually joined walkers from all around Oregon and SW Washington to promote wellness in our community.
