With today’s emphasis on women in Science, Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) careers, Julianne Laue stands out as a pioneer.

Julianne is the Director of Building Performance at Mortenson and is responsible for implementing energy and sustainability initiatives. Since joining Mortenson in 2013 she evolved Mortenson’s sustainability practice from an energy only approach to a holistic sustainability and human health and wellness methodology. She specializes in energy efficiency analysis, building physics, life cycle cost analysis, and related services. Julianne is also experienced in design and simulation of whole building integrated systems and provides strategic advice on a wide variety of building types and scales.

Beyond the traditional construction build, Julianne works closely with Mortenson’s customers to provide asset optimization services, including annual operating cost analysis, energy bill analysis and tracking, facilities optimization, conditions assessments, energy forensic audits, energy reduction services and facility improvement solutions—ensuring our customers can take action on the pressing challenges and issues that impact the performance of their facilities.
