The new Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) Multimodal Transportation Center includes terminals with heated passenger waiting areas, nine bus platforms, an information center, transit driver facilities, a new police sub-station, ATM drive-through, and restroom facilities. A new public parking ramp adds 410 parking spaces with incentive parking for van and carpools, electric charging stations, and capacity for storing 120 bikes. Renovations and enhancements were also be made to the current retail spaces and the skywalks to the Northwest Passage, Harbor Center, Wells Fargo, and new Transit Center East facility. 

The Multimodal Center provides a safe and secure location for DTA passengers, pedestrians, and bicyclists, and a hub for transportation providers.
