Mortenson was selected by Scout Clean Energy to construct the 130 MW Bitter Ridge Wind Project in Redkey, Indiana. This was our second project completed for the Scout Clean Energy leadership team and our sixth protect completed in Indiana. Mortenson has constructed 36 percent of all wind energy in Indiana. 

The Bitter Ridge Wind Project consists of 52 GE-2.82 MW turbines with tower heights of 89 meters (or 291.9 feet). The scope of work included access roads, foundations, collection, substation, O&M building, turbine erection and tower wiring.
