Mortenson was the design-builder of a fully integrated team that delivered this high-performing facility. The project is Mortenson’s largest design-build sports project and includes a 212,000 square foot expansion to Folsom Field; a state-of-the-art Champions Center with locker rooms, dining facilities, and a lounge, which serves as the new home of CU Football and Athletic Administration; the construction of a 108,000 square foot, net-zero energy, Indoor Practice Facility serving all sports programs and allows CU to host sanctioned track and field events on campus; and 106,000 square feet of outdoor grass practice field adjacent to the Indoor Practice Facility. As part of the overall project, Mortenson also delivered a 534-stall parking garage under the IPF as part of a separate contract.
