EDF Renewable Development selected Mortenson as the EPC contractor for Slate Creek Wind Project located in Geuda Springs, KS. Mortenson’s high voltage scope on the 90 square-mile site consisted of 44.9 miles of underground collection. Construction commenced in May 2015 with expected completion in November 2015. At completion, the project will power an estimated 45,000 homes per year.
